The ultimate mission of this initiative is to facilitate an interface between halacha and present day social discourse that can effectively lead to resolution, without relinquishment, between the opposing concepts noted above – that of Jewish law and that of secular, civic and democratic society, and concomitantly that of Western thinking and the oriental worldview..

Target Populations

The project will seek function to engage three tiers of society, as follows:

  1. Persons in pivotal positions who have the power to make decisions regarding conflicts: policy-makers, politicians, strategists, institutes of public opinion, cultural figures, and such. The aim is to  equip these persons with tools to enable them to take a stand and pursue effective policies from a position of clarity.

  2. Leaders of social research institution, cultural organizations, educational systems (both state and private), organizations and institutions that promote social action and leadership, and members of the public who are interested in shaping the social-cultural-political vision for Israel’s future.

  3. Garnering wide public support for the fundamental issues at the core of the project in order to facilitate genuine dialogue that is not founded on compromise, but rather reconciliation, but resolution.
